Uses of CLARRHMOS

There are three main applications of our simulation system:

Education:
Proof of basic arrhythmia mechanism, mechanism of drug effect, explanation of the proarrhythmic effect of antiarrhythmics and most features of the current theory of electrocardiogenesis can be easily demonstrated.
Research:
Various parameters, and indeed various theories on electrocardiogenesis can be tested using the CLARRHMOS package;
Clinical:
The practician can verify that, in a given case, the proposed explanation of an arrhythmia actually keeps, from a theoretical point of view; he/she can also establish and show that multiple explanations keep simultaneously for the same ECG behaviour--in which case search for aditional clues on the mechanism can be started; however, patient-specific computer models in arrhythmology are quite far away, and systems like clarrhmos are useful to clarify ideas and illustrate explanations rather than directly.
